Зять президента США Дональда Трампа та старший радник Білого дому Джаред Кушнер публічно заперечив, що під час виборів вступав у змову з Росією.

Після закритої зустрічі у Комітеті з розвідки Сенату він звернувся до журналістів, багато в чому повторюючи письмові свідчення, які він дав раніше цього дня, передає Європейська правда з посиланням на ABC News.

"Дозвольте мені чітко пояснити - я не змовився з Росією, я не знаю ні про кого іще в кампанії, хто б це зробив. У мене не було жодних неналежних контактів. Я не використовував російські кошти для свого бізнесу. І я був повністю прозорий у наданні всієї необхідної інформації ", - сказав Кушнер.

"Дональд Трамп мав кращий посил і розумніше керував кампанією, і саме тому він переміг. Припускаючи інше, ви висміюєте тих, хто голосував за нього" – додав він.

Варто зазначити, що зустріч у комітеті Сенату тривала більше двох годин.

Як повідомлялося, Джаред Кушнер підтвердив чотири контакти з росіянами під час президентської виборчої кампанії 2016 року та після її закінчення.

На 11-ти сторінках свого звіту Кушнер розкрив подробиці контактів з росіянами минулого року.
