Такої домовленості досягнули голови зовнішньополітичних відомств двох країн, повідомив македонський телеканал Telma з посиланням на джерела, інформує Європейська правда із посиланням на N1.

За даними джерел, план вирішення спору, затверджений головами МЗС двох країн два дні тому в Брюсселі, складається з 11 пунктів. Прем'єр-міністри Македонії та Греції обговорять план у телефонній розмові в середу, а фінальне схвалення домовленостей має відбутися на особистій зустрічі прем'єрів згодом.

Грецькі ЗМІ повідомляють, що глава македонського уряду повинен представити цей документ парламенту, який має схвалити його простою більшістю голосів.

Коли парламент схвалить план, Греція повідомить НАТО про своє схвалення вступу Македонії до Альянсу, але за умови, що Македонія змінить Конституцію. Крім того, у вересні або в жовтні у Македонії повинен відбутися референдум щодо нової назви.

Афіни вважають, що назва Македонії є узурпацією назви її історичної провінції, у зв'язку з цим вони блокують вступ Македонії до НАТО.

Прем'єр-міністр Македонії Зоран Заєв очікує, що рішення буде знайдено до червня перед самітом лідерів ЄС. Македонія повинна вирішити суперечку, щоб мати можливість почати переговори про вступ до Євросоюзу.
