Подавляющее большинство итальянских СМИ находятся под контролем российского лобби, поэтому пропаганда Кремля широко представлена на страницах газет и экранах ТВ.

Итальянский журналист и активист Мауро Воерцио на пресс-конференции в Киеве рассказал, как пытается донести соотечественникам правду об Украине, сообщает Новый Регион

«Я начал свою работу фрилансера во время Майдана два года назад. Тогда в Италии массово распространялась российская неправдивая пропаганда о ситуации в Украине, в частности, о событиях на Майдане. Тогда я написал книгу «Ангелы Майдана», где попытался донести итальянцам всю правду... Затем в Украине началась война, которую развязала Россия», — рассказал он.

Воерцио напомнил, что на сегодняшний день 80% всех итальянских СМИ контролируются российским лобби, а газеты публикуют карты, где Крым – российская территория. «Крайне важно понимать, что в Италии продолжается российская пропаганда против Украины, и это необходимо любыми способами преодолевать», — подчеркнул он.

«Ситуация очень сложная, — признал журналист. — Поэтому сейчас я нахожусь в Украине, чтобы доработать документальный фильм «Украина после Революции через два года».
