Видеоплатформа YoutTube запустит игровой сервис YouTube Gaming, пишет gazeta.ru
С помощью этого сервиса видеохостинг намерен монетизировать популярность игровых видео. Основной функцией сервиса станет онлайн-стриминг игрового процесса.
«Лайв-стримы объединяют игровое сообщество, так что мы поставим их в центр платформы YouTube Gaming», — заявил менеджер платформы по играм Алан Джойс.
Таким образом, в Google намерены выиграть конкуренцию у аналогичной платформы Twitch, купленной Amazon за $970 млн.
