Лидером партии «Народный фронт» стал премьер-министр Арсений Яценюк. За предложение, внесенное главой парламента Александром Турчиновым, проголосовали единогласно все делегаты съезда, передает НБН.

«Очень важно что лидером «Народного фронта» является Арсений Яценюк»,- сообщил экс-секретарь СНБО Андрей Парубий.

По его словам, очень символично, что в политсилу также вошли сотники и бойцы самообороны Майдана, командиры добровольческих батальонов, которые и сегодня защищают Украину.

Андрей Парубий добавил, что в состав партии также вошли общественные и евроинтеграционные организации. Главным заданием партии он назвал курс на укрепление обороноспособности страны и преодоление коррупции.

«Мы сегодня объединяется в общую, платформу, объединяется в «Народный фронт», чтобы совместно выполнить эти цели», – резюмировал Андрей Парубий.

Также съезд избрал руководителем Центрального штаба партии Александра Турчинова.
