Агентство Cihan и газета Zaman, а также ряд других СМИ с 15 мая прекращают работу в связи с решением руководителей их внешней администрации, назначенных властью.

Об этом сообщает телеканал CNN Turk, передает Европейская правда

Сообщается, что агентство Cihan, газета Zaman, телеканал Küre TV и другие издания, которые являются частью группы компаний Feza Yayın Grubu, прекращают свою деятельность с 15 мая.

Напомним, в марте суд Турции назначил внешнюю администрацию в оппозиционное информационное агентство Cihan, которое связано с оппозиционной газетой Zaman.

Как известно, Zaman и Cihan является частью медиаконцерна Feza Gazetecilik, который, в свою очередь, близок к исламскому проповеднику Фетхуллаху Гюлену, проживающему в США.

Ранее Гюлен считался союзником нынешнего президента Турции Реджепа Тайипа Эрдогана, однако потом они стали соперниками.

Zaman – одна из крупнейших турецких газет, ее тираж составляет 650 тыс. экземпляров.

Медиахолдинг Feza связывают с движением "Хизмет", духовным лидером которого является Фетуллах Гюлен.

В декабре 2014 года главный редактор Zaman и еще несколько журналистов и руководителей СМИ были задержаны за связи с Гюленом.

По мнению президента Турции Реджепа Тайипа Эрдогана, Гюлен стремится свергнуть действующее правительство.
