У Німеччині вважають, що від результатів президентських виборів у Франції залежить існування Європейського союзу.

Про це заявив міністр економіки, віце-канцлер уряду Німеччини Зігмар Габріель, повідомляє Главком з посиланням на Reuters.

Як повідомляється, Габріель заявив, що Європейський союз може розвалитися, якщо популісти у Франції чи Нідерландах здобудуть перемогу на виборах у цьому році.

«Президентські вибори у Франції цієї весни є доленосними виборами в Європі», - сказав Ґабріель.

Він також зазначив, що існує загроза розвалу ЄС.

«Після Brexit в минулому році, якщо противники Європи знову будту керувати в Нідерландах або у Франції, ми зіткнемося з загрозою, що найбільший цивілізаційний проект 20-го століття, а саме Європейський союз, може розвалитися», - написав він.
