Дві головні політичні партії Іспанії втрачають підтримку громадян – про це свідчать попередні результати місцевих виборів у країні 24 травня.

За цими даними, владна правоцентристська Народна партія і головна опозиційна партія, які по черзі керували в Іспанії протягом майже 40 років – отримали близько 52% голосів виборців порівняно з 65% у 2011 році.

Дві головні партії також втратили контроль над кількома важливими містами, зокрема, у Барселоні і столиці Іспанії Мадриді посади мерів можуть обійняти кандидати з партій «Громадяни» і «Podemos» («Переможемо»), які виступають проти суворих заходів економії,повідомляє Радіо Свобода

У неділю в більшості регіонів Іспанії відбулися регіональні і муніципальні вибори. У Каталонії вибори до місцевого парламенту не проводилися, бо відбудуться у вересні, але має бути обраний парламент Барселони.

Аналітики кажуть, що регіональні вибори в Іспанії є репетицією загальнонаціональних, які відбудуться в країні восени.

Право голосу в Іспанії мають більше ніж 35 мільйонів людей.

Іспанія протягом кількох років бореться із високим безробіттям – 20-25%, політика «затягування пасків», запроваджена Народною партією є непопулярною, незважаючи на те, що економіка Іспанія показала приріст у цьому році.
