 Ведуча BBC Фіона Брюс у дискусійному шоу «Час запитань» змушена була виправити себе у прямому ефірі. Про це пише Deadline.

Останніми роками BBC розвиває сервіс «Перевірити», який оперативно підтверджує або спростовує заяви гостей у прямому ефірі телебачення та радіо. Цього разу він виправив ведучу.

Голова партії реформ Зія Юсуф критикував у шоу кількість шукачів притулку, які прибувають до Британії.

Юсуф зазначив, що Велика Британія приймає більше таких людей на душу населення, ніж Франція. Ведуча Фіона Брюс виправила його: 

«Франція попереду, ми досить далеко внизу списку».

Через кілька хвилин Брюс, очевидно отримавши повідомлення в навушник, була змушена виправитися, сказавши:

«Насправді, перш ніж ми продовжимо, я просто хочу сказати, Зія, ти маєш рацію, що Франція приймає менше шукачів притулку на душу населення, ніж у Сполученому Королівстві. Ми приймаємо більше, ніж це, і важливо це зробити правильно».
