За даними блогера Евана Бласа, також відомого під ніком @evleaks, запуск месенджера Google Allo намічений на 21 вересня, відзначає Новое время.

Google оголосила про майбутній вихід свого нового сервісу для обміну повідомленнями Allo в травні на конференції для розробників. Серед особливостей сервісу для обміну повідомленнями Google Allo називають асистента Google Assistant, здатного вести діалог з користувачем. Allo буде використовувати методи машинного навчання, які дозволять асистентові підлаштуватися під уподобання користувача.

Крім того, користувачі зможуть збільшувати розмір тексту повідомлення, утримуючи кнопку відправки.

Також додаток буде використовувати наскрізне шифрування (end-to-end). Зазначимо, що відмова Google ввести для наскрізного шифрування режим "за замовчуванням" вже викликла критику експертів.

У цьому месенджері, як і в Telegram підтримуються стікери і приватні чати. Так само, як месенджер WhatsApp, сервіс Google Allo використовує списку контактів телефону.
