В столице Македонии, Скопье, 24 апреля вновь произошли протесты против привлечения албанских партий в правительственную коалицию.

Об этом сообщает «Радио Свобода«.

«Демонстранты остановились у офиса правящей партии ВМРО-ДПМНЕ» («Внутренняя македонская революционная организация – Демократическая партия за македонское национальное единство»), требуя досрочных выборов. По мнению протестующих, досрочные выборы позволят завершить политический кризис в Македонии. Активисты также провели акцию протеста под стенами македонского парламента», — говорится в сообщении.

Правящая партия «ВМРО-ДПМНЕ» на протяжении нескольких недель успешно препятствует коалиции в формировании нового правительства и избрания спикера парламента.

Протестующие называют героем президента Джорге Иванова за то, что он отказался дать коалиции мандат на формирование нового правительства, хотя она и имеет большинство в парламенте.

США и Европейский союз призвали «ВМРО-ДПМНЕ» прекратить тактику противодействия, которая, по мнению Запада, только продолжит политический кризис в стране.

Пресс-секретарь Еврокомиссии Майя Коциянчич 10 апреля заявила, что новое правительство Македонии «должно быть создано без дальнейших проволочек на основе парламентского большинства, которое там есть».
