Договоренность о проведении в Македонии досрочных парламентских выборов до конца апреля 2016 года достигнута в рамках попыток урегулирования политического кризиса, сообщил представитель Европейской комиссии по вопросам расширения и политики добрососедства Йоханнес Хан,сообщает Сегодня.

"Решено, что досрочные выборы будут организованы до конца апреля будущего года", – сказал Й.Хан на пресс-конференции, состоявшейся во вторник по итогам его встречи вСкопье с представителями властей и оппозиции Македонии.

"Важно преодолеть нынешнюю трудную ситуацию, которая проявляется в виде этого кризиса для того, чтобы сохранить для Македонии евроатлантические перспективы", – добавил Й.Хан.

В нынешней встрече приняли участие глава правительства Македонии Никола Груевски, один из лидеров оппозиции Зоран Заев, а также главы двух албанских партий Македонии Али Ахмети и Мендух Тачи.

Следующая подобная встреча запланирована на следующую неделю. Как ожидается, она пройдет в Брюсселе.

Македония на протяжении нескольких месяцев живет в условиях серьезного политического кризиса, который обострился в конце мая. Основное требование оппозиции – отставка правительства. Н.Груевски со своей стороны продолжает обвинять З.Заева в попытке дестабилизировать ситуацию в стране. "Я не собираюсь ни уходить в отставку, ни создавать переходное правительство", – заявлял ранее он.
