Инициативная группа так называемых «депутатов народного совета» «ЛНР» предложила провести местные выборы в самопровозглашенной «республике» 2 ноября 2015 года. Об этом сообщил член «совета» «ЛНР» Олег Акимов,пишет Главком

«Мы предлагаем датой проведения местных выборов на территории наших «республик» («ЛНР» и «ДНР». – Ред.) определить 2 ноября 2015 года. За год до этой даты, 2 ноября 2014 года, мы уже провели выборы главы «республики» и выборы «депутатов народного совета», которые прошли без каких либо нарушений, в присутствии международных наблюдателей, с соблюдением всех принципов демократии», — цитирует «депутата» сепаратистский «Луганский информационный центр».

В инициативную группу вошли семь «депутатов народного совета» «ЛНР». Акимов также добавил, что «парламентарии» «ЛНР» готовы к обсуждению модальности выборов, и выразил надежду на скорейшее получение ответа от Киева.
