В Кении сегодня начались всеобщие выборы. Почти на 41 тыс. избирательных участков граждане проголосуют за кандидатов в президенты, а также за кандидатов в предствители двухпалатного парламента и местные органы законодательной и исполнительной власти. Об этом сообщает Коммерсант

Выборы закончатся в 17:00. На 1882 выборные должности в этом году претендуют более 14,5 тыс. кандидатов, выдвинутых 64 политическими партиями. Основными кандидатами в президенты являются 55-летний действующий глава Кении Ухуру Кениата, баллотирующийся на второй срок, и 72-летний лидер оппозиции Раила Одинга.
