У неділю понад 36,5 млн іспанців вдруге за 6 місяців обирають 350 депутатів та 208 сенаторів.

Повторні вибори стали результатом однією з найбільших інституційних криз в історії країни.

За очікуваннями соціологів, іспанці розчаровані нездатністю обраних в грудні 2015 року політичних сил сформувати уряд, тому явка може бути невисокою.

За останніми опитуваннями, правляча Народна партія  може виграти вибори, проте отримає значно менше 176 місць необхідних для досягнення більшості.

На другому місці йде ліва партія "Подемос", якій пророкують від 88 до 92 депутатських крісел.

Третьою йде Соціалістична партя, яка претендує на 78 з 80 місць у порівнянні з 90 мандатами, які партія здобула в грудні.

Ліберали з Сiudadanos залишаються четвертою політичною силою з  потенційними 38-39 місцями в парламенті. 

Нагадаємо, наприкінці квітня цього року в Іспанії безрезультатно завершились переговори щодо створення урядової коаліції між королем Феліпе VI та керівниками партій.
