В четверг, 14 ноября, парламент Грузии не смог принять поправки в конституцию, предусматривающие переход на пропорциональную избирательную систему с 2020 года.

После провала голосования оппозиция и гражданские активисты устроили масштабный митинг на Руставели в Тбилиси, пишет Грузия Online.

Они требуют отставки премьер-министра Грузии Георгия Гахария и проведения досрочных парламентских выборов по пропорциональной системе.

Участники акции протеста расставили на проезжей части деревянные конструкции.

Автомобильное движение на Руставели уже перекрыто. У здания парламента активисты начали разбивать палатки. Протестующие обещают стоять до тех пор, пока власти не пойдут на уступки.
