Книгу написали от лица 11 человек, которые посветили свою жизнь борьбе с экстремизмом и ненавистью. Свои мысли изложили бывший узник концлагеря Моше Даган (Mosche Dagan), афганская беженка Вана Лимар (Wana Limar), а также Ирмела Менса-Шрамм (Irmela Mensah-Schramm), которая всю жизнь стирает нацистские граффити.

Первый тираж в 11 тыс. копий практически раскупили. Каждое евро от полученных средств передали в организацию Gesicht Zeigen, которая борется за социальную справедливость.
