На территории, контролируемой террористической организацией «ДНР» было основано так называемый «Союз журналистов». Об этом было объявлено на «учредительном съезде организации», сообщает российское интернет-издание «Журдом».

"Рад, что у нас в республике появился Союз журналистов", - приводит слова "главы республики" 

В учредительном съезде Союза приняли участие представители практически всех СМИ "ДНР", было выдано 55 мандатов участников. На собрании были избраны руководящий состав профессиональной организации и утвержден ее логотип.

Председателем Союза журналистов избран генеральный продюсер Телевидения "ДНР" Виктор Петренко. По его словам, одним из первых почетных "членов Союза" стал Александр Захарченко.

Основной задачей "Союза журналистов ДНР" станет защита прав и свобод журналистов республики, помощь в прохождении стажировок в российских федеральных СМИ, в приобретении новых знаний, открытие школы журналиста, а также налаживание тесных контактов и связей со средствами массовой информации за рубежом.

На съезде также предложено учредить в "ДНР" профессиональный праздник журналистов, который будет отмечаться 5 мая.
