Кандидат по 205 округу Геннадий Корбан съездил в село Седнев, в церковь где снимался фильм "Вий". О своих впечатлениях он написал на своей странице в Фейсбук
"Только что я обнаружил клад. В 10 км от Чернигова я открыл для себя уникальное место Седнев, где находится старинная деревянная церковь, построенная 300 лет назад. Возведенная без фундамента и без единого гвоздя. Эту церковь видели миллионы людей в фильме «Вий» - первом и последнем советском фильме ужасов. Часто люди не осознают, как много в них заложено природой и Богом. Эта церквушка построенная с использованием золотого сечения, людьми, которые на тот момент не обладали специальными математическими и инженерными знаниями. Казаками. Эту церковь много раз пытались уничтожить. Она не сгорела во время последних разрушительных войн. А в советское время ее пытались растащить двумя дизелями. Но машины заглохли. Прямо сейчас я нахожусь у этой церкви. Я спокоен и безмятежен. Здесь явно обитает частица Бога, как, собственно, в каждом из нас", - написал Корбан
