Бывший спецпред Госдепартамента США в Украине Курт Уолкер отверг возможные обвинения в адрес текущей украинской власти во вмешательстве в американские выборы.

 
 

Об этом шла речь во время его выступления на открытых слушания в Конгрессе, трансляцию ведет телеканал CBSN.

Курт Уолкер отметил, что представители текущей украинской власти не имеют никакого отношения к американским выборам 2016 года.

“Что касается обвинений [во вмешательстве в выборы], я подчеркнул, что никто из новой команды, управляющей Украиной, не имеет ничего общего с тем, что могло произойти в 2016 году”, — сказал он.

Также Уолкер напомнил Конгрессу, что в то время часть команды Президента Украины Владимира Зеленского и он сам в то время занимались телевизионными проектами, а не политикой.

“Они делали телевизионные шоу в то время”, — подчеркнул он.
