Издание Financial Times опубликовало актуальный рейтинг «Топ-50 технических предпринимателей Европы», в который вошли сразу два выходца из Украины, причем оба — почти в самой вершине списка. Основатель WhatsApp Ян Кум расположился на второй позиции рейтинга, а Макс Левчин, за плечами которого участие в таких проектах как PayPal, Yelp, Slide и Affirm, занял 11-ю позицию. Возглавил топ-50 швед Дэниел Эк, сооснователь Spotify.

Больше всего номинантов попали в рейтинг от Великобритании: 21 человек. На втором месте Швеция (6 номинантов), на третьем Франция (5 номинантов). От России в рейтинг также попали два номинанта — сооснователь «Яндекс» Аркадий Волож занял четвертое место, а основатель одноименного антивируса Евгений Касперский — 16-е место,сообщает AIN.ua.

В рейтинге участвовали только европейцы или те, кто проживает в Европе, которые возглавляли или основали технологический бизнес и до сих пор активно работают в сфере IT или предпринимательства. Таким образом, из рейтинга вычеркнули сооснователей Skype, ARM и Autonomy, которые отошли от дел. Напомним, после продажи своего проекта Facebook Ян Кум остался в совете директоров WhatsApp. Что касается Макса Левчина, сегодня он активно развивает ecommerce-стартап Affirm.

Это далеко не первый рейтинг, в котором фигурируют Левчин и Кум. В разные годы каждый из них попадали в рейтинг «40 до 40» (40 успешных младше 40 лет) культового журнала Fortune.
