Спецпрокурор Роберт Мюллер, який проводить розслідування даних про російське втручання в американські вибори, сформував колегію присяжних, яким належить дати оцінку зібраної інформації.

Ймовірно, що колегія розпочала роботу кілька тижнів тому. Подібний крок означає, що розслідування стає більш масштабним і виходить в нову фазу.

Зі свого боку, юрисконсульт Білого дому Тай Кобб підкреслив, що "Білий дім підтримує будь-які заходи, які здатні прискорити хід розслідування". 

Мюллер також розслідує можливе перешкоджання правосуддю з боку Трампа, коли той у травні звільнив директора ФБР Джеймса Комі, який очолював розслідування по Росії.
