Інцидент стався 2003 році, коли екс-президентові США було 79 років, а дівчині - 16. Буш нібито схопив її за сідниці під час спільного фотографування.

"Моя перша реакція була абсолютним жахом. Я дійсно була розгублена", - розповіла жінка.

"Перше, що я зробила, подивилася на мою маму, і, хоча він продовжував стояти поруч, я нічого не сказала. Що підліток скаже екс-президентові США? На кшталт, ей, чувак, ти не повинен мацати мене як зараз?" - поділилися жінка.

Рослін Корріган стала шостою жінкою, яка публічно звинуватила Джорджа Буша-старшого в тому, що він хапав за сідниці без їхньої згоди.

Видання звернулося до офісу екс-президента, речник якого зазначив, що Джордж Буш-старший не хотів нікому заподіяти шкоди та просить вибачення у всіх, кого він міг образити під час фотографування.
