Председатель Европейского совета Дональд Туск считает, что у российской пропаганды нет шансов против правды. Об этом он заявил в интервью русской редакции Радио Свобода.

"И это не пустые слова, не слоган. Конечно, нам нужны определенные технические средства, не просто радио, телевидение или Интернет, но и координация информационных усилий с участием аналитических центров. Мы должны предоставлять правдивую информацию о жизни Европы, о конфликте в Украине, о других актуальных темах", - подчеркнул Туск.

По его словам, Евросоюз уже приступил к реализации такого проекта. "Глава нашего внешнеполитического ведомства Федерика Могерини создала специальную команду, дело идет. Я уверен, что результаты конфронтации между дезинформацией и правдой мы увидим в ближайшее время", - подытожил глава Европейского совета. 

Напомним, ранее сообщалось, что Литва, Великобритания, Дания и Эстония обратились к Еврокомиссии с призывом разработать план действий по борьбе с российской пропагандистской кампанией.

В частности, в письме в Брюссель предлагалось создать в Интернете платформу, на которой бы подавалась информация о лжи и манипуляциях и пропаганде, предлагалось оказывать поддержку инициативам по созданию телеканалов, сетевых порталов, радиостанций и печатных СМИ на русском языке, поощрять обмен продукцией внутри ЕС, предлагать продукцию действующим российским СМИ.
