У Парижі на площі Прав людини в неділю, 28 травня, відбулася акція протесту, приурочена до візиту у Францію російського президента Володимира Путіна.

Про це повідомляє Укрінформ із посиланням на  RFI.

"Акція пройшла під гаслом "Єдина Європа проти політики Путіна". Метою мітингу став заклик до нового президента Франції Еммануеля Макрона нагадати російському лідеру Володимиру Путіну про необхідність "припинення порушення прав людини в Росії і порушення Росією міжнародного права щодо інших країн", - йдеться в повідомленні.

У своїй заяві організатори акції наголосили, що обов'язок президента - захищати французькі та європейські цінності.

"Ми зраділи перемозі Макрона на президентських виборах. Тепер обов'язок президента - захищати французькі та європейські цінності, у тому числі й перед паном Путіним, якому треба сказати прямо в обличчя, що Франція і Європа більше не терпітимуть ворожі спроби Кремля дестабілізувати цілий континент і посіяти війну і ненависть", - йдеться в заяві.

В акції брали участь кілька десятків активістів. Учасники тримали плакати із закликами звільнити українських ув'язнених, які знаходяться в Росії, зокрема режисера Олега Сенцова, антифашиста Олександра Кольченка, журналіста Романа Сущенка. Найбільше було прапорів України, але були також прапори Молдови і Румунії, Грузії, Сирії, Франції і Євросоюзу.

Зазначається, що на акцію прийшли також російські опозиціонери і емігранти.

Як відомо, президент Франції Макрон прийматиме президента Росії Путіна 29 травня з нагоди відкриття у Версалі виставки, присвяченої 300-річчю візиту Петра I у Францію.
