Верховний суд Німеччини визнав незаконною функцію «Пошук друзів», яка отримує доступ до контактів користувача і відправляє їм запрошення у соцмережу.
 

Про це повідомляє The Guardian.

Комітет Верховного суду Німеччини ухвалив, що функція з пошуку друзів у Facebook є рекламним порушенням. Сама функція соцмережі, отримавши доступ до будь-яких контактів користувача, телефонів або електронних адрес, починає розсилати запрошення його друзям приєднатися до Facebook.

Також суд зазначив, що подібна маркетингова практика соцмережі вводить користувача в оману, крім того, вона слабо інформує його про те, як і до яких даних вона отримує доступ.

Товариство захисту прав споживачів Німеччини вже висловило надію, що подібне рішення суду стане попередженням для компаній, що використовують схожі рекламні методи. 

Нагадуємо, що Європейський суд з прав людини (ЄСПЛ) у вівторок, 12 січня,відхилив позов румунського інженера щодо звільнення його з роботи за розміщення приватних повідомлень на своїй сторінці в соціальній мережі Facebook у робочий час.
