Кілька федеральних земель Німеччини закликають запровадити норму, яка зобов'язувала б соціальні мережі, зокрема Facebook, надавати за вимогою правоохоронців конфіденційну інформацію про користувачів.

Як пише Deutsche Welle, йдеться в першу чергу про особисті дани тих, хто запідозрений у злочині і плануванні терористичних актів.

Влада федеральних змель обурюється тим, що керівництво Facebook залишає без відповіді в середньому дві третини таких запитів.

Видання відзначає, що за статистикою, протягом останніх років поліція, прокуратура і спецслужби Німеччини відправляють на адресу Facebook щодня більше десяти запитів про надання особистих даних користувачів, зокрема про їх облікові дані або IP-адресу.

Так, міністр внутрішніх справ Баварії Йоахім Херрманн вимагає ввести для соцмереж "положення, що зобов'язує", згідно з яким відповідати на запити влади повинен буде один з "уповноважених співробітників".

"Крім того, має бути максимально скорочений термін надання облікових даних або інформації про користувачів", - підкреслив Херрманн.
