Олександра Щетиніна знайшли мертвим на балконі у власний день народження.

 
Сьогодні, 28 серпня, вночі у квартирі на вулиці Костянтинівській був виявлений мертвим журналіст Олександр Щетинін. Про це повідомляє Київ Оперативний у себе у Facebook, передає Кореспондент
 
Повідомляється, що Олександра Щетиніна виявили на балконі його друзі, які прийшли привітати його з днем ​​народження. Він сидів на стільці з вогнепальним пораненням у голову (під стільцем лежав пістолет).
 
"За інформацією з достовірних джерел, справу поки що розглядають як самогубство, оскільки одному з близьких Олександр відправив електронного листа, у якому повідомлялося про намір накласти на себе руки", - йдеться в повідомленні.
 
 
Як відомо, Щетинін був засновником і головним редактором інформаційного агентства Новый регион.
 
У лютому 2014 року він проголосив про свій відхід з інформаційного агентства, у якому пропрацював 17 років. Тоді він пояснив свій вчинок "тиском на російські редакції агентства з боку влади РФ".
