20 травня на Контрактовій площі Києва відбудеться офіційне відкриття Міжнародної виставки політичної карикатури. Про це повідомляють організатори експозиції.

Мета - «демонстрація однієї з базових свобод - свободи самовираження, прикладу критичного ставлення до політиків».

У виставці беруть участь роботи художників із семи країн світу. Україну представляє відомий художник Юрій Смаль.

Роботи будуть представлені, починаючи з 14.00, на Контрактовій площі біля пам'ятника Григорія Сковороди.

Проект реалізовується Інститутом світової політики (Україна) та громадською організацією Euforion (Словаччина) за підтримки Міжнародного Вишеградського фонду.

Спеціальний гість церемонії відкриття: всесвітньо відомий художник-карикатурист Деріл Кейгл(США). Після відкриття виставки відбудеться його лекція та майстер-клас. Про розклад інших заходів організатори експозиції інформують тут.

Виставка вже побувала у 24 містах та п'яти країнах - у Словаччині, Чехії, Польщі, Угорщині та Грузії.
