Верховний суд Кенії наказав повторити спірні президентські вибори в країні після юридичного оскарження з боку опозиції.

Минулого місяця президент Ухуру Кеньятта був оголошений переможцем виборів, але лідер опозиції Райла Оддіна стверджував, що голосування було сфальсифіковано.

"Президентські вибори не проводилися відповідно до конституції, оголошуємо результати недійсними", - сказав головний суддя Девід Марага.

Нові вибори будуть призначені протягом 60 днів.

Нагадаємо,корінні народи Кенії вийшли на яскраву акцію протесту проти виселення з рідного лісу. В Кенії члени племені сенгвер вийшли на акцію протесту проти виселення з їх споконвічних земель.

Уряд хоче відселити корінні народи з території їх рідного лісу Ембобут у зв'язку з програмою по його охороні.

Сенгвер мешкають в цьому лісі багато століть, займаючись традиційними ремеслами – полюванням і бджолярством.
