У Грозному під час нападу на главу "Комітету з протидій катуванням" один із нападників завдав удару українському консулу Олександру Ковтуну.

Про це у себе у Twitter повідомив міністр закордонних справ Павло Клімкін.

Інших подробиць він не повідомив.

Як відомо, раніше у Грозному напали на голову "Комітету по запобіганню тортурам" Ігоря Каляпіна. Як повідомляв кореспондент Радіо свобода Антон Наумлюк, він повинен був зустрітися з журналістами і правозахисниками, які прибули на процес у справі українців Миколи Карпюка та Станіслава Клиха.

 

Клімкін також зазначив, що у четвер до зали суду навмисне зігнали людей, які навіть не знали, на який суд прийшли, аби не пустити туди журналістів та правозахисників. 

У четвер, 17 березня, суд у Грозному відхилив апеляцію і залишив громадян України Миколи Карпюка і Станіслава Клиха під арештом.
