Турецька влада випустила ордери на арешт 47 співробітників впливової газети Zaman ("Час") в рамках розслідування спроби держперевороту.

Ордери випущені для керівників та колумністів видання, передає УНІАН

Їх підозрюють у зв'язках з проживаючим в США проповідником Фетхуллою Гюленом, якого турецька влада вважає натхненником заколоту.

Сам Гюлен неодноразово заявляв, що не має відношення до путчу, і засуджував спробу перевороту. За даними державного інформагентства Анадолу, щонайменше один журналіст, колишній колумніст Zaman Шахін Алпай - вже був затриманий.

Опозиційну газету запідозрили у зв'язках з Гюленом ще в березні цього року, тоді турецька влада ввела зовнішнє управління редакцією, спровокувавши акції протесту. Після цього газета стала суворо дотримуватися продержавної лінії. У понеділок стало відомо про випуск ордерів на арешт 42 журналістів, 16 з них вже було затримано для допиту. За підозрою в причетності до спроби перевороту були затримані і тимчасово відсторонені від посад понад 60 тис. осіб. Серед них понад 9 тис. поліцейських, 3 тис. суддів і 6 тис. військових, а також викладачі вузів. Були закриті більше двох тисяч організацій.
