Президент США Дональд Трамп звинуватив свого попередника Барака Обаму у прослуховуванні його телефону під час виборчої кампанії.

Свої звинувачення Трамп помістив у декілька обурених дописів у Твіттері.

"Який жах! Щойно дізнався, що Обама прослуховував мене у Трамп-тауер просто перед перемогою. Нічого не дізнався. Це якийсь маккартизм!" - написав він.

За словами Трампа, гарний адвокат міг би роздмухати велику справу з того факту, що президент Обама прослуховував його розмови в жовтні, перед виборами.

"Як низько міг опуститися президент Обама, щоб прослуховувати мої телефонні розмови за час сакрального виборчого процесу. Це Уотергейтський скандал Ніксона. Поганий (або хворий) хлопець", - додав президент США.
