45-й президент США Дональд Трамп відхилив пропозицію глави України Володимира Зеленського приїхати до України.

Про це ексочільник США повідомив в інтерв'ю телеканалу Newsmax.

"Я з великою повагою ставлюся до президента Зеленського, але вважаю, що було б недоречно їхати в Україну в цей час. Зараз із ним веде справу адміністрація Байдена, і я не хотів би створювати конфлікт інтересів".

Раніше президент України Володимир Зеленський запросив ексголову США Дональда Трампа до Києва, щоб за 24 хвилини пояснити йому все щодо припинення війни між РФ та Україною.

На думку Зеленського, Трамп не зможе домовитися про мир з очільником Кремля Володимиром Путіним, лише якщо він налаштований віддавати українські території та незалежність, як заявляв раніше.

Водночас, за словами Трампа, якби він був президентом, то домовився б із Україною та Росією про "справедливу та чесну угоду для всіх", відповідно до якої Путін нібито б "не хотів" захопити більше українських територій. Він навіть отримав від президента РФ похвалу за таку ідею.
