Лідер партії "Батьківщина" Юлія Тимошенко спростувала інформацію про те, що її передвиборчу кампанію в 2010 році профінансували з коштів російського "Внешекономбанку".

Про це вона повідомила у власній заяві.

"Усі звинувачення про начебто фінансування моєї компанії російським Внєшекономбанком є наскрізь брехливими та покликані відвернути увагу людей від насправді кричущих економічних та соціальних проблем, які переживає зараз країна і про які я публічно говорю.", - говориться в повідомленні.

Як писав PRпортал , за Тимошенко вступився її соратник Сергій Власенко, який вважає назвав статтю російського Forbes про роль грошей "Внешекономбанку". РФ у передвиборчій кампанії Тимошенко черговим шедевром російської пропаганди.

Нагадаємо, за даними Forbes, в 2010 році "Внешекономбанк" профінансував операцію з придбання українського металургійного холдингу «Індустріальний союз Донбасу» на $ 1 млрд, з яких $ 300 млн пішло на кампанію Юлії Тимошенко
