Телеканал Discovery объявил о закрытии шоу, выходившем с 2003 года, в 2016, - передает журнал Entertainment Weekly. О причинах такого решения не сообщается.Разрушители легенд перестанут выходить в эфир после 248 эпизода, а общее число проведенных в итоге экспериментов составит 2950.

Ведущие Адам Сэвидж и Джейми Хайнеман сообщили, что спокойно воспринимают закрытие шоу. По их словам, они знали об этом еще в начале 2015 года.

"Я всегда боялся, что Разрушители легенд просто перестанут выходить, и мы не получим шанса снять достойную концовку. Мы выбрали по одному из самых крутых мифов в каждой из категорий, будь то человеческое поведение или взрывы, и составили из них наш последний рассказ", - сообщил Сэвидж.

Напомним, в эпизоде научно-популярного телешоу Разрушители легенд на канале Discovery Channel специалисты по спецэффектам повторили сцену стрельбы из пулемета, установленного в багажнике автомобиля из финальной серии сериала Во все тяжкие.
