Сын американского политика и одного из претендентов на пост президента США Дональда Трампа получил по почте письмо с угрозами. Об этом сообщает The New York Post.

Письмо открыла жена 32-летнего Эрика Трампа — Лара Юнаска. Из конверта высыпался белый порошок. Лара немедленно позвонила в полицию, пожарную службу и ФБР. Прибывшие сотрудники служб взяли образцы порошка для анализа, его результаты пока неизвестны. Медики сообщили, что ни у кого из тех, кто держал письмо в руках, нет каких-либо признаков отравления или заболевания.

Кроме порошка, в конверте находилось письмо с угрозами. Отправитель предупреждал Дональда Трампа, что, если он не выйдет из президентской гонки, его сын пострадает. Трамп-старший произошедшее пока никак не комментировал.

Дональд Трамп — миллиардер, претендующий на пост президента США от Республиканской партии. В публичных выступлениях он резко критикует действующего президента Барака Обаму, делает резкие заявления по острым проблемам современного мира и дает неоднозначные политические обещания. Президентские выборы в США пройдут 8 ноября 2016 года.
