Олігарху, соратнику екс-президента Віктора Януковича Сергію Курченку обрано запобіжний захід у вигляді тримання під вартою.

Про це повідомив його адвокат Юрій Сухов, передає УНІАН.

За словами Сухова, у вівторок пізно увечері суддя Печерського райсуду Києва Володимир Карабань задовольнив клопотання прокуратури про обрання запобіжного заходу Курченку у вигляді тримання під вартою.

При цьому Сухов додав, що оскаржить це рішення в апеляційному порядку.

Нещодавно Печерський суд вже виносив рішення про взяття під варту Курченка, проте Апеляційний суд Києва скасував це рішення, і Генпрокуратура повторно звернулася до Печерського райсуду з клопотанням про взяття його під варту.

Як відомо, 22 березня Генпрокуратура оголосила українському олігарху-втікачу Сергію Курченку підозру  за вчинення злочинів у банківській галузі.

Раніше ГПУ оголосила підозру Курченку у  справі розкрадання майна державного підприємства ПАТ "Укргазвидобування".

У травні суд за клопотанням старшого слідчого Генпрокуратури арештував майно Сергія Курченка.
