Facebook работает над созданием интернет-магазинов, которые будут размещаться на страницах предприятий и брендов на сайте. 

Магазины на страницах брендов в настоящий момент находятся в ранней стадии тестирования, однако в некоторых уже появилась возможность обнаружить и купить товар, не покидая сайта. Всего на сайте сейчас несколько десятков таких магазинов, однако в Facebook сообщили, что программа будет расширяться. Наиболее заметны магазины в мобильной версии сайта: они размещаются прямо под панелью инструментов и информации о компании,пишет lookatme.ru

В Facebook пока не разглашают список компаний, которые участвуют в теситировании новой функции.

Ранее в Facebook появилась возможность перевести друзьям небольшие денежные суммы, а также, согласно появившейся ранее информации, компания работает над созданием ассистента для Messenger, который позволит пользователям искать и покупать товары. Кроме того, в прошлом году на сайте появилась кнопка «купить», позволяющая приобрести рекламируемый товар.

По данным исследования компании Forrester, 13% времени, проводимого в мобильных приложениях, приходится на Facebook.
