Члени Ради Безпеки ООН сьогодні проводять відкрите засідання - це буде інформаційний брифінг цілком присвячений гуманітарній ситуації на Донбасі та у Криму, повідомляє ТСН.16:45.

Спочатку очікується доповідь помічника генсека ООН з прав людини Івана Шимоновича, а також заступника генсека з політичних питань Джеффрі Фелтмана.

Керівництво ООН констатує збільшення кількості переміщених осіб - на початок березня ця цифра вже перевищила один мільйон. Також місія ОБСЄ й надалі фіксує порушення режиму припинення вогню бойовиками.

На окупованому півострові Крим систематично порушуються права людини, зокрема кримських татар, а також тих, хто рік тому виступав проти так званого "референдуму".

Тема спецмісії ООН з підтримки миру на Донбасі сьогодні обговорюватись не буде - наразі, щодо цієї місії у штаб квартирі Організації Об'єднаних Націй тривають активні консультації. Оскільки це засідання Ради Безпеки відбудеться у форматі інформаційного брифінгу, жодних резолюцій на ньому розглядати не будуть.
