На своїй сторінці в Facebook нардеп від БПП Сергій Лещенко вирішив похвалитися новиною про вже 13-те відвідання «українського сніданку» у швейцарському Давосі, організатором якого є відомий олігарх Віктор Пінчук,. Разом з цим, депутат пояснив підстави своїх відвідин цього заходу. Так, Лещенко вважає бойкоти контрпродуктивними і порадив відстоювати національні інтереси скрізь, де це є можливим, так як це зробила у Давосі група депутатів ВР. 

Окрім того, депутат зазначив, що він, разом з іншими «єврооптимістами» під час своїх виступів акцентували увагу на неможливості досягнення компромісу з керівником Кремля Володимиром Путіним та розповсюдили серед усіх учасників заходу заяву з тлумаченням позиції, якої дотримуються усі члени міжфракційного об’єднання. За словами нардепа, його відсутність під час пленарного засідання ВР на офіційному рівні була оформлена в якості відпустки за власний рахунок. 

І все ж, незважаючи на такі детальні пояснення політика, користувачі соцмережі досить різко виразили незадоволення в коментарях під постом Лещенка. Його, зокрема, звинуватили у «продажності» та зраді інтересів України.
