Сім із десяти французів (70%) і більш третини прихильників партії "Республіканці" (36%) вважають, що Франсуа Фійон повинен зняти свою кандидатуру.

Про це свідчать результати опитування Odoxa, проведеного на замовлення Franceinfo.

Опитування також показало, що три чверті французів (74%) і половина прихильників партії Фійона (53%) мають "погану думку" про колишнього прем'єр-міністра.

Крім того, 79% респондентів сказали, що їх не вдовольнили пояснення Фійона, надані ним минулого тижня на прес-конференції.

"Колишній фаворит президентських перегонів втратив 29 пунктів з листопада минулого року, і 15 пунктів, починаючи з 27 січня, після перших повідомлень про скандал із його дружиною", - зазначає видання.

Тиждень тому 61% французів вважали, що Фійон повинен вийти з президентських перегонів.

Нагадаємо, 31 січня з'явилася інформація про те, що дружина кандидата в президенти Франції Франсуа Фійона і двоє його дітей отримали за роботу на держслужбі майже мільйон євро.

Прокуратура Франції розпочала розслідування, яке потім розширили і на його сина та доньку.

Фійон визнав, що було помилкою наймати на роботу дружину і дітей, і вибачився перед французами, але заявив, що не збирається знімати свою кандидатуру.
