197 осіб зареєструвалися з вівторка в якості кандидатів на майбутніх виборах президента Ісламської Республіки Іран. Такі дані повідомив журналістам керівник Штабу з проведення виборів МВС країни Алі Асгар Ахмаді, передає  ТАСС.

За словами чиновника, станом на першу половину сьогоднішнього дня заявки на реєстрацію прийняті від 189 чоловіків і восьми жінок. Найстаршим кандидатом став 82-річний стоматолог.

Резонанс викликала реєстрація колишнього президента Ірану Махмуда Ахмадінежада. Іранські інформаційні агентства публікують відгуки на цю подію політиків і громадських діячів, які майже одностайно засуджують дії екс-президента.

Заявки на реєстрацію для участі у виборах прийматимуть ще п’ять днів. Остаточний список  затвердить Наглядова рада Ірану.

Нагадаємо, президентські вибори в Ірані відбудуться 19 травня.

Як повідомляв «Главком», раніше Іран заявив про застосування санкцій щодо 15 американських компаній за їхню ймовірну підтримку Ізраїлю і його «терористичних дій».
