Під час другого туру регіональних виборів на Корсиці перемогу здобула коаліція політичних сил, що виступають за більш широку автономію регіону.

Про це повідомляє Європейська правда із посиланням на  Bloomberg.

Коаліція "За Корсику" здобула під час другого туру виборів 56,5% голосів і отримає 41 з 63 місць у місцевому парламенті.

Ця перемога була очікуваною після того як "За Корсику" здобула перемогу у першому турі голосування тиждень тому.

Партія, пов’язана з президентом Еммануелем Макроном, а також правоцентристська опозиційна партія здобули по 5 місць.

Явка на виборах становила 52,5%.

Після оголошення результатів один із двох лідерів коаліції "За Корсику" Жіль Сімеоні заявив про те, що настав час для обговорення розширеної автономії для Корсики.

"Обставини для політичного врегулювання питання Корсики ніколи не були більш сприятливими. Корсиканці масово сигналізували державі про те, що настав момент розпочати справжній діалог" - заявив він.
