Бывший президент Франции Николя Саркози планирует покинуть пост главы партии "Республиканцы", передает Reuters.

"Этот партийный съезд будет последним, когда я являюсь главой республиканцев", - заявил Саркози на собрании партии.

Как отмечает агентство, в случае, если Николя Саркози продолжал бы занимать пост главы партии, он бы не смог принимать участие в праймериз перед президентскими выборами.
