Губернатор Одесской ОГА Михеил Саакашвили будет лишен гражданства Грузии. Об этом заявила министр юстиции Грузии Теа Цулукиани. Причиной данного решения он назвала принятие Михеилом Саакашвили гражданства Украины, пишет Издание Грузия Online.
"Согласно Конституции Грузии, гражданин Грузии не может быть в то же время быть гражданином другой страны. Согласно закону, когда гражданин Грузии получает гражданство другой страны, это является основанием для утери гражданства Грузии.
Несколько дней назад поступила официальная нота на украинском языке, согласно которой Михеил Саакашвили принят гражданином Украины и это решение в силе и сегодня. На основании данной ноты, которая является официальным документом украинского государства, согласно законодательству Грузии и взятых Грузией международных обязательств, мы сегодня начинаем процедуру прекращения гражданства Грузии Михеилу Саакашвили. Об этом письменно будет уведомлено заинтересованное лицо в Одессе, которому будет предоставлен разумный срок для определения своей позиции", - заявила министр юстиции.
