Команда Conflict Intelligence Team, которая занимается расследованиями в связи с российской военной операцией в Сирии, обнаружила, что телеканал RT показал кадры с авиабазы Хмеймим в Сирии, на которых один из российских боевых самолетов оснащен кассетными бомбами, сообщает Украинская правда

На видео, посвященном инспекции министра обороны России Сергея Шойгу, крупным планом показаны закрепленные под фюзеляжем самолета боеприпасы РБК-500 ЗАС-2,5 см (надпись легко разглядеть) - это тип кассетной бомбы с зажигательной боевой частью.

После публикации видео изменили: после кадров с самолетом на взлетно-посадочной полосе оно переходит сразу к выступлению главе Минобороны РФ Шойгу. Однако на YouTube бомбы можно увидеть с помощью предварительного просмотра, сообщается на сайте CIT.

Как известно, Amnesty International и Human Rights Watch неоднократно обвиняли Россию в применении при нанесении авиаударов в Сирии кассетных боеприпасов, запрещенных международной конвенцией.

В свою очередь официальный представитель Минобороны РФ Игорь Конашенков заявил, что на базе Хмеймим форуме кассетных бомб и российская авиация не использует их в Сирии.
