Центрвиборчком РФ відмовився реєструвати кандидатуру опозиціонера Олексія Навального на вибори президента Росії, той закликав до бойкоту виборців. Відмову пояснили наявністю у Навального судимості.

Про відмову у реєстрації повідомляє "Дождь".

"Робоча група підійшла до розгляду цих документів найретельнішим чином", - сказав член ЦВК Борис Ебзеєв.

Він підкреслив, що 8 лютого 2017 року Навальний був засуджений Ленінським районним судом міста Кірова на п'ять років умовно.

"Злочин, який було інкриміновано Олексію Анатолійовичу Навальному (стаття 160 КК РФ), вважається тяжким. Тому ЦВК не може зареєструвати Навального кандидатом в президенти", - підкреслив Ебзеєв.

Навальний у відповідь на таке рішення закликав виборців до бойкоту в заздалегідь записаному ролику, опублікованому на його сайті.

"Ми оголошуємо бойкот виборців. Процедура, в якій нам пропонують брати участь не є виборами. У ній беруть участь лише Путін і ті кандидати, яких він особисто обрав", - заявив політик.
