Спільнота російськомовної «Вікіпедії» заблокувала обліковий запис користувача Samal, який організував зустріч з Федеральною службою з нагляду у сфері зв’язку, інформаційних технологій та масових комунікацій (Роскомнаглядом), Media Sapiens.
 

Відповідне повідомлення опубліковане в Twitter спільноти «Русская Википедия».

Користувач Samal на ім’я Олександр раніше неодноразово виступав за те, що «Вікіпедія» повинна змінити свою модель поведінки і давати інформацію так, щоб уникати блокувань. У цієї точки зору в спільноті російської «Вікіпедії» були як прихильники, так і противники.
