Згідно даних «Вікіпедії» за лютий 2018-го року, редактори української версії стали п'ятими за активністю.
 

Щомісячні дані статистики  «Вікіпедії» серед іншого містять показник вікіпедійної пасіонарності — кількості активних зареєстрованих редакторів, які здійснюють редагування більше п'яти статей на місяць на мільйон носіїв мови, повідомляє Media Sapiens

Попереду від редакторів української версії — німецькомовні (перше місце), японськомовні (друге місце), італійськомовні (третє місце) та польськомовні (четверте місце).

Одразу за українськомовними редакторами за пасіонарністю йдуть юзери, які вносять правки в статті англійською мовою. До першої десятки рейтингу також потрапили користувачі, які редагують французькою, російською, перською та корейською мовами.

До рейтингу вікіпедійної пасіонарності включені мови, які мають більше 40 мільйонів носіїв.

Нагадаємо, за кількістю створених статей у лютому 2018-го року українськомовна «Вікіпедія» посіла шосте місце з-поміж усіх мов, на одну позицію випередивши російськомовну. Лідером стала англомовна «Вікіпедія» із результатом у 18451 статті.

У 2017 році українська «Вікіпедія» піднялася на два рядки й опинилася на 19 місці в світі за відвідуваністю. За рік, що минув, було створено понад 85 тисяч статей українською мовою, що на 40% більше в порівнянні з 2016 роком.
